Anant ambani: Anant Ambani, the youngest son of billionaire industrialist Mukesh Ambani, will be given several allowances including salary of Rs 10-20 crore annually and commission on the company’s profits. This information has been given in the information sent to the shareholders. Anant Ambani has been appointed Executive Director in Reliance Industries, the first group, among the three siblings.

Information in this regard has been given by the company in the notice sent to the shareholders. In 2023, Mukesh Ambani appointed his three children Akash, Isha and Anant as Non-Executive Directors in the board of Reliance. The three did not take any salary as non -executive directors, but in FY 2023–24 they received a fee of Rs 4 lakh and a commission of Rs 97 lakh. As Executive Director, 30 -year -old Anant will now be entitled to regular salary and other remunerations.

This change in Reliance is part of the succession plan. Mukesh Ambani believes that now is the time when his children take charge as the company’s next generation leader. Akash is the chairman of Jio Infocomm and also manages the Mumbai Indians team.

The allowances will include housing or rent allowance, house maintenance and allowance of utilities (gas, electricity, water, decoration and repair), and holiday travel concession for themselves and dependents.

Anant also graduated from Brown University.
