South Africa's Wiaan Mulder has taken the cricketing world by storm after smashing a remarkable triple century at the age of 27.

His aggressive innings has earned him a spot as the second-fastest player to reach a triple ton in Test cricket. But at the very top of this elite list still stands an Indian icon.

India’s fearless opener Virender Sehwag holds the record for the fastest triple century in Test cricket, which he achieved off just 278 deliveries against South Africa in the 2007–08 series. His boundary-filled knock remains one of the most dominant innings in Test history.

South Africa’s Wiaan Mulder delivered a spectacular performance against Zimbabwe, racing to a triple century in 297 balls. His knock featured 38 fours and 3 sixes, making him the second-fastest to the milestone and the fastest South African to achieve it.

England’s Harry Brook joins this elite list after scoring a 300 in just 310 balls during the Multan Test against Pakistan in the 2024–25 season. He now holds the record for England’s fastest Test triple century.

Australian opener Matthew Hayden blasted a triple ton off 362 balls against Zimbabwe at Perth in 2003–04. Known for his brute force and attacking mindset, Hayden’s innings was one of the most dominant knocks ever played by an Aussie in Tests.

Sehwag appears on this list again, thanks to his memorable knock of 309 runs against Pakistan in Multan (2004), which he reached in 364 balls. This was also India’s first-ever triple century in Test cricket.
