A New Beginning for Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan
After delivering notable performances in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema, Sai Pallavi is stepping into the Hindi film industry with Ek Din. Her upcoming projects also include Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious Ramayana, where she plays Goddess Sita opposite Ranbir Kapoor’s Lord Rama.
Junaid Khan, who made his acting debut with Maharaj (2024) and was last seen in Loveyapa opposite Khushi Kapoor, will share screen space with Sai Pallavi for the first time. Ek Din is directed by Sunil Pandey and will hit theatres on November 7, 2025.
Aamir and Mansoor Khan Reunite After 17 Years
Ek Din also marks the reunion of Aamir Khan and Mansoor Ali Khan, who last co-produced the 2008 hit Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, which introduced Imran Khan and Genelia D’Souza. The duo’s legacy goes back even further, with Mansoor directing Aamir’s debut film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988), followed by Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander (1992) and Akele Hum Akele Tum (1995).
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan was last seen in Sitaare Zameen Par, which released in June 2025. Apart from Ek Din, he is also producing Lahore 1947, starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.
With Ek Din, Bollywood is all set to witness a fresh pairing and a heartfelt story backed by a powerful legacy.
