Novak Djokovic fights back to beat Flavio Cobolli, enters Wimbledon 2025 semi-finals

New Delhi: Seven-time champion Novak Djokovic defeated Flavio Cobolli in the quarters to reach the men’s singles semi-finals at Wimbledon 2025. Gunning for a record-equalling eighth Wimbledon title at the All England Club this year, the Serbian ace came from behind to beat the entertaining Italian, who produced a slight scare for the legendary Serbian on Wednesday.
Djokovic beat Cobolli 7-6 (8-6) 2-6 5-7 4-6 in four sets at the Centre Court to set up a mouth-watering semi-final clash against world no.1 Janik Sinner, who defeated American Ben Shelton earlier in the day to reach the semi-finals. Djokovic has now reached his 14th semi-final at Wimbledon as he continues to search for his record 25th Grand Slam crown.
