Waiting for bullet train over! Know when India's first-ray-speed will run

High-speed bullet train

India's first bullet train project is now gaining momentum! According to railway sources, the trial of bullet train will start in Gujarat by the end of 2026 next year. For this, special Shinkansen trains will be brought to India from Japan. Under the friendship and strategic partnership of India and Japan, the Japanese government has decided to give E10 Shinkansen trains of its new generation to this corridor. These trains will not only be at high speed, but are also considered to be the top in the world in terms of security and technology. Out of this 508 km long corridor, 50 km stake will be the first trial. That is, the dream of bullet train in India is now moving towards reality.

Mumbai-Ahmedabad Corridor speed

The work of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-speed rail corridor is going on loudly. Railways say that this project is moving forward according to its fixed deadline. This 508 km long corridor is being built with the famous Shinkansen technology of Japan, which will set new standards for the Railways. Trains will not only run fast on this track, but passengers will also get a great experience of safety and comfort. The Ministry of Railways has also started work on many alternative routes to give further speed to this project, so that in future, bullet train can be tried in more parts of the country.

And on which routes will the bullet train be on?

Railways do not want to be limited to Mumbai-Ahmedabad only. The Ministry of Railways has started feasibility studies on many more routes. These include routes like Delhi-Amritsar, Delhi-Banaras, Banaras-Kolkata, Mysore-Chennai, Mumbai-Nasik, Mumbai-Nagpur and Delhi-Ahmedabad. That is, in the coming years, many big cities of the country can connect at the speed of bullet train. Study on these routes means that the railway is preparing to spread the network of bullet train across the country. If everything happens according to the plan, then soon a new round of high-speed rail can start in India.

How fast will the bullet train run?

Talking about the speed of the bullet train, the railway has set two types of scales for this. The operational speed of this train will be 320 kilometers per hour, while the design speed can go up to 350 kilometers per hour. That is, this train will talk to the wind! There will be a total of 12 stations between Mumbai to Ahmedabad. There will be two types of service in it. First, premium service, which will stop at only 4 stations- Mumbai, Surat, Vadodara and Ahmedabad. This train will reach Ahmedabad from Mumbai in just 2 hours and 7 minutes. Secondly, general service, which will stop at all 12 stations and take it 2 hours 58 minutes. That is, now the journey of hours will be reduced to minutes!

Game-changer for india

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train will not only reduce the time of travel, but it will also give a new dimension to the railway system of India. Along with Shinkansen technology of Japan, these trains will also be beneficial for the environment, as they will spread less pollution and also reduce energy consumption. Apart from this, this project will create thousands of jobs and trade between the two cities will also be encouraged. Railways say that this project will bring India in the list of top countries of the world in the field of high-speed rail.
