This feature is especially beneficial for those who forget to reply to the necessary messages many times due to the busy lifestyle. Here we will tell you how this feature works.
What is Remind Me Feature?
The new feature launched in Whatsapp beta version 2.25.21.14 allows users to set reminders on any message. That is, now you can avoid forgetting any important message in chat, because you will get notifications on time.
The special thing of this feature is that it works not only on text but also on images, videos, gifs, audio and document.
How to use Remind Me Feature?
It is easy to use. For this, press the message on which the reminder is to be set for a long time. The bail icon will appear at the top of the screen, click on it. A menu will open, which includes four options for the reminder, including 2 hours, 8 hours, 24 hours and customs (choosing your time and date). On time, you will get a notification from WhatsApp, which will also include a message content, chat name and media preview.
If you want to remove the reminder, then press on that message and click on the bell icon and delete the reminder.
Why is this feature special?
This feature is different from star message or pin chat. In this, you are given reminders through direct notifications. This can eliminate the problem of forgetting the essential things. Any important document, answer or reminder will now be found on time.
