According to a report by WABETAINFO, WhatsApp is testing this new feature in Android beta version 2.25.21.23.

After this update, when you go to settings to change profile photos, you will now see the option to add photos to the current options-camera, gallery, avatar, meta AI-as well as Facebook and Instagram.

At the moment, if someone has to make their Facebook or Instagram photo to WhatsApp DP, then he has to first download that photo from the respective app. Then go to the gallery of the phone and manually upload it.

This process also takes time and there is a slight mess. But the new feature will completely eliminate this mess.
