A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Ramnagar police station area of Varanasi. A mother along with her lover killed her 10-year-old innocent son because the child was becoming a hindrance in their illicit relationship. This incident has stunned the entire area and people are surprised how a mother can be so ruthless.

The child was missing since Tuesday

10-year-old Suraj, a resident of Kashmiriganj area of Ramnagar police station area, went out to play on Tuesday afternoon. When he did not return home till late evening, the family started looking for him. When no trace of him was found even after a lot of searching, the family filed a missing person report at Ramnagar police station at night. Understanding the seriousness of the matter, the police immediately started investigating.

Shocking truth revealed in investigation

During the investigation, the police questioned Sooraj's neighbors and acquaintances, which revealed shocking facts. The police found out that Sooraj's mother had an illicit relationship with a young man named Faizan. The police immediately took Sooraj's mother and Faizan into custody on the basis of suspicion.

On strict interrogation, both of them broke down and confessed their crime. They told that Suraj was becoming a hindrance in their relationship, so they killed him together. Faizan told the police that he took Suraj to a deserted place and killed him.

The accused attacked the police , got shot in the leg

After confessing their crime, the police were taking both the accused to identify the crime scene. Then Faizan snatched the pistol of a policeman and started firing. The police immediately retaliated, in which Faizan got shot in the leg. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment in an injured condition. The police recovered the body of Suraj from the crime scene and sent it for post-mortem.

DCP gave information about the incident

DCP Kashi Zone, Gaurav Bansal said that the missing report of 10-year-old Suraj was registered on Tuesday. During the investigation, it was found that his mother had an illicit relationship with Faizan. During interrogation, both of them confessed to the murder. The DCP further said that the accused had attacked the police, in response to which the police took action and he was shot. Further legal action is being taken.

Further police action

The police have registered a case against Suraj's mother and Faizan under sections of murder, criminal conspiracy and attempted murder on the police. Faizan will be sent to jail after he recovers. The police have also started collecting mobile location, call details and other evidence to get to the bottom of this heinous crime.
