Samastipur Electric Shock Incident: Three people of the same family died after being electrocuted in Ward 12 of Vibhutipur Purba Panchayat of Vibhutipur police station area of Samastipur district of Bihar. The deceased have been identified as Arun Ram (40 years), son of Ramashish Ram, wife Shanti Devi (60 years) and 16 -year -old son Ajit Kumar of grandson Anil Ram. While 6 -month -old granddaughter Anshi Kumari has been referred to Sadar Hospital. In connection with the incident, it is being told that the service wire leading to Ram Ashish Ram's house fell due to a short circuit.

How did three people lost their lives

According to the information received, the electricity was cut, during this time Arun Ram was going to see the fallen wire. Meanwhile, electricity came. Due to which Arun Ram got caught by him. Seeing them, mother Shanti Devi and nephew Ajit Kumar went, due to which she too fell in it. Arun's wife Rinku Devi ran away with her 6 -month -old child and she was also engulfed by her, causing the children to be seriously injured. Local people hurriedly admitted everyone to Vibhutipur CSC. In which Ajit Kumar, Arun Ram and Shanti Devi were declared dead by Dr. Amarnath Sharma on duty.

Negligence of electricity department

In view of the critical condition, 6 -month -old girl Anshi Kumari was referred to Sadar Hospital for better treatment. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and took the three bodies in their possession and sent them to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. After this incident, the local people were very angry with the electricity department. People allege that after the incident, it was being repeatedly called and said that electricity would be cut. But the phone was not picked up. Due to which all three have died. Negligence has been taken by the electricity department.

Accident occurred due to breakdown of service wire

MLA Ajay Kumar, who reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, has expressed grief over the incident and assured the victim's family of all possible help. When asked about this, JE Nitish Kumar said that the accident occurred due to the fall of the service wire. Electricity was immediately cut off as soon as the information was received. Police President Sunil Kumar said that the police have taken the body in possession and sent it for postmortem. The police is taking further action.
