Popular YouTuber Saadur Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, was arrested early Sunday at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. Authorities accuse him of promoting gambling and betting applications through his YouTube channel.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) confirmed that a case has been registered against him. The charges include electronic forgery, fraud, spamming, spoofing, cheating, and offering prizes linked to trade. These fall under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, as well as sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.

Officials said the investigation began on June 13 after reliable sources reported that several influencers were advertising gambling platforms to the public for financial gain.

According to the FIR, Rehman promoted applications such as Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365, and B9 Game. The document listed 27 video links from his account. Many of those videos are no longer accessible.

The FIR stated that viewers invested their money in these apps because of the promotions. However, they later faced losses when the companies failed to pay promised profits. Authorities say this amounted to fraud against the public.

The report also mentioned that the apps were not registered or approved to operate in Pakistan.

Rehman was summoned during the inquiry but did not appear. As a result, his name was added to the Provisional National Identification List to restrict his travel.

On August 16, FIA Immigration officials stopped him at Lahore airport as he attempted to leave the country. He was flagged by the Integrated Border Management System. He was then taken into custody, and his mobile phone was seized.

Investigators claim his phone contained evidence of conversations with Binomo representatives and records of payments linked to promotional activities. They also allege that Rehman was working as a “country manager” for Binomo without approval from Pakistani authorities such as the State Bank or the Federal Board of Revenue.

He was presented before a judicial magistrate on Sunday afternoon. The court handed him over to NCCIA on a two-day remand. The agency has been ordered to submit its investigation report in court on Tuesday, August 19.

A clip making the rounds online depicts Ducky Bhai apparently riding a motorway while not seated in the driving seat. He is in the front seat, with his legs draped over the steering wheel, eyes closed, and a chilled-out smile on his face—projecting the idea that he’s dozing off or faking it.

The car looks like a futuristic electric car that is fitted with self-driving or autopilot capabilities. As the car keeps on moving at a high speed, another person captures the surreal moment from within the vehicle.
