The youth love their freedom. After marriage, social and family responsibilities increase, which makes them feel that their personal freedom will end. This thinking pulls them back from marriage.

3. Fear of failure of relationships

Today, due to increasing cases of divorce and separation, youth are hesitant to marry. They are afraid that if the marriage is not successful, it will be difficult to face mental and social pressure. Therefore, instead of marriage, they consider live-in or casual relationship as a safe option.

4. The burden of responsibilities

After marriage, not only the spouse, but the family’s responsibilities also increase. Today’s youth believe that now they want to enjoy their life and are not ready to take up big responsibilities so soon.

Experts believe that this change is to society’s thinking and lifestyle. Earlier, where marriage was associated with stability and respect, now the youth are giving more importance to personal freedom, career and self -reliance.

However, this does not mean that today’s youth are against marriage. They only want to get married only when they consider themselves mentally and financially fully prepared.
