
Moscow. Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, who arrived on a three -day official visit to Russia, will meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow today. During this time, the possibilities of mutual cooperation between the two countries will be discussed. In view of the US tariff, Ukraine struggle and changing global equation on India about Russia’s oil purchases, the Indian Foreign Minister’s meeting with its Russian counterpart is being considered important.
Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S Jaishankar arrived in Russia on a three -day official visit on 19 August. A day earlier on Wednesday, he co-chair the 26th session of the Indo-Russia Inter-Government Commission (IRIGC-TEC), which discussed increasing trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. He also addressed the Indo-Russia Business Forum along with Russia’s first Deputy Prime Minister Dennis Manturov that this journey of External Affairs Minister Dr. Jaishankar is taking place after NSA Ajit Doval’s recent visit to Russia. Doval met President Putin in his visit to Russia.
