Airtel has issued a statement regarding this problem. The company said, “The problem is caused by temporary connectivity and it will be corrected within an hour.” In this statement, the company has apologized for the disadvantages of consumers. According to the company, the service will resume if customers restart their phone after the problem is resolved.

Service jumps in major cities

According to the ‘DowdeTector’ website tracking the network outage, the Airtel service has been disrupted in many cities. The biggest hit is, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Customers in these cities could not call phone calls and did not even use the Internet. The number of complaints suddenly increased from 7am and thousands of complaints were registered.
