
New Delhi. In the 19th match of the UP T20 League, Kanpur Superstars defeated Kashi Rudraz and registered a big win by 128 runs. In this match played at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Adarsh Singh’s stormy century and Shubham Mishra’s deadly bowling overturned. Adarsh Singh was adjudged Man of the Match for a brilliant century. Shubham Mishra’s fatal bowling also played an important role in the victory.
Kanpur superstars did not start well while batting first after losing the toss. The team lost the first wicket in the fourth over and the score was just 54/2 by the 10th over. In difficult circumstances, Adarsh Singh showed patience and then changed gear in a stormy style. Adarsh completed a century off 51 balls and scored 113 runs off 55 balls while being unbeaten till the end. His innings consisted of 12 sixes, out of which 10 came in the last 19 balls. He scored 23 runs in the 18th over, 27 runs in 19th and 29 runs in the final over. Adarsh and Faiz Ahmed shared an 113 -run partnership for the fourth wicket, with Faiz’s contribution of just 22 runs. Kanpur scored a huge score of 198/3 in 20 overs.
Kashi Rudras’s innings came out to chase the target completely shattered. Captain Karan Sharma became LBW on the first ball. After this, Anakur Sharma took two wickets and the team was reduced to 27/4 till the 7th over. After this, Shubham Mishra wreaked havoc. He took 5 wickets for 6 runs in just 3 overs. Kashi Rudraj was all out for 70 runs in 15 overs.
