Chhattisgarh news: The soul of Indian culture lies in Sanskrit, which gives us a unique identity on the world stage. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said this while addressing the Virat Sanskrit scholarly conference held at Saryuparin Brahmin Sabha Bhawan in Sanjay Nagar, the capital Raipur today.
Chief Minister Sai said that Sanskrit education is relevant and useful even in the modern era. Sanskrit language and literature are the basis of our heritage, which we should preserve and promote. Chief Minister Sai said that with discussion on Devvani Sanskrit, this conference is a great effort to strengthen Indian culture, rites and nation. Chief Minister Sai appreciated the efforts being made by Sanskrit Bharati Chhattisgarh and Sarayuparin Brahmin Sabha Chhattisgarh for the preservation and promotion of Sanskrit language and congratulated and congratulated them.
Chief Minister Sai said that the inclusion of Sanskrit language in modern education will ensure intellectual development of students. Sanskrit has a huge storehouse of texts like Vedas, Upanishads and Puranas, which gives the message of philosophy, science and life-values. Ayurveda, mathematics and astrology described in the Vedas are still relevant and can be the subject of research. The principles of karma, knowledge and devotion are clearly propounded in these texts, which can bring peace and balance in modern life. Sanskrit education is equally relevant and useful in the modern era.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that by adopting the knowledge of Vedas and Upanishads, we can also make our life rich along with cherishing our legacy. He said that we have to motivate the youth to connect with Sanskrit literature, so that they can reach this knowledge to the new generation. The Chief Minister also said that Sanskrit education can be made attractive and relevant through technology. Concrete steps can be taken in this direction with the active participation of Sanskrit scholars and teachers in the state. He called upon us that through this conference we should take a pledge to promote Sanskrit learning and connect the next generation.
In the program, Chief Minister Sai also released the publicity sheet of Saryuparin Brahmin Sabha, Chhattisgarh. The Virat Sanskrit scholar conference was organized under the joint aegis of Sanskrit Bharati Chhattisgarh and Sarayuparin Brahmin Sabha Chhattisgarh. Addressing the conference, Dr. Dadu Bhai Tripathi, Principal of Sanskrit Bharati, said that many such evidences are found in history, which proves that Sanskrit was prevalent as public language at one time. Chhattisgarhi language has a direct connection with Sanskrit. Many metals of Panini grammar are directly used in Chhattisgarhi. He also informed that most tribal students in Surguja region are getting Sanskrit education.
Chief Minister Sai honored the people who made significant contribution in various fields of Saryuparin Brahmin society in the program. Among them, arthritis specialist Dr. Ashlesha Shukla, excellent swimmer Anant Dwivedi and Vice Chancellor of Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University Prof. Sachchidanand Shukla was involved. The conference was also addressed by Dandi Swami Dr. Indubavanand Maharaj, President of Saryuparin Brahmin Sabha Chhattisgarh, Dr. Suresh Shukla and All India Sanskrit Bharati Education Head Dr. Shri Ram Mahadev.
