Report: Adoption of AI will bring a big boom in India’s GDP by 2035

New Delhi. Artificial Intelligence is expressed in many ways about the future use of Artificial Intelligence. It is also claimed that it will limit employment opportunities for humans. However, a report of NITI Aayog, however, expressed different possibilities from this. According to this report, rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence in all industries can increase India’s GDP (GDP) (GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT – GDP) by $ 500 to 600 billion by 2035.

A report released by NITI Aayog on Monday, ‘AI: Opportunity for Developed India’ said that AI’s widespread use in the coming decade, the global economy can contribute from 17 to 26 million million dollars. According to the report, “The presence of a vast workforce in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, rapid research and strong digital capabilities can make India an important partner in this change.” This will give India an opportunity to benefit from 10 to 15 percent of the global AI value.

Which areas benefit?
NITI Aayog has said that although the functioning of some low skill areas will definitely be affected, AI will also create many new jobs. The report states that the use of AI on the field of financial services and manufacturing can see the biggest impact. The contribution of 20 to 25 percent of the GDP in these areas can be through AI. At the same time, productivity ranging from $ 85 to $ 100 billion in manufacturing sector is also estimated.

AI will open new types of employment opportunities
While launching the report, NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam said that AI will create more employment in India and by 2035, by 2035, about $ 2 trillion will contribute an additional US dollars. He also emphasized that AI would not replace jobs, but will also open new types of employment opportunities, provided the workforce is trained with appropriate skills. Subrahmanyam said that the use of AI can change productivity and innovation.
