A woman decided to see how far she could stretch a tenner at Harrods - and was pleasantly surprised by the results.

Despite its reputation for luxury, Harrodscan sometimes offer customers reasonable prices. So, is it possible to buy something from there without breaking the bank? This was the question on Isobel Lorna's mind as she headed to the iconic store during her lunch break to see if she could find a tasty mealfor less than £10 – and she took to TikTok to share her shopping experience.

"I'm on my lunch break and I'm gonna see if I can get lunch at Harrods for under £10," she declared in her video as she made her way to the bustling food hall. To her surprise, she found plenty of delicious and affordable options.

"Seems like everyone is buying lunch at Harrods," she observed as she navigated the busy court. But this didn't deter her from finding some lunch of her own. So did she manage to stay within her budget?

After jokingly dismissing the £4,900 caviar as out of her price range, she headed to the pre-packaged section. Here, she discovered a wide selection of salads and sandwiches.

Isobel settled on an egg mayonnaise sandwich with watercress on white bread for a fiver, leaving her with another £5 to find a drink and a snack.

"Let's get some overpriced water," she quipped, as she deliberated between the mint and cucumber or dragon fruit and lime options.

She chose the latter option, before grabbing a hot cross bun priced at £2.50. It was then time to discover the total cost of her lunch haul.

"Let's see if it's under £10," she remarked, before revealing that the three items totalled exactly a tenner.

As she departed the shop with her food, she commented: "A drink, sandwich, and sweet treat for £10. Not a £4 meal deal, but it's pretty good."

Viewers swiftly flocked to the comments section to voice their opinions - whilst offering their own money-saving tips for Harrods shopping.

"There is a £7 meal deal!!!" one viewer said, explaining that this deal apparently includes a sandwich and a drink. Isobel soon responded: "WHATT!! @Harrods I'm coming back next week."

Others encouraged her to sample the £12 rotisserie box, which represents decent value for those seeking a reasonably priced meal in London.

However, not everyone was impressed by the price of the meal as some went on to say that a cheaper meal deal would have worked just as well.

"Only 5 for a small egg sandwich. Tesco meal deal is £3.40," one person said.

To counter this argument, another person soon replied: "But not as good as [Harrods]."
