
The second and final solar eclipse of 2025 is going to be held on September 21. This rare astronomical phenomenon will be a partial solar eclipse lasting for more than four hours. A wonderful semi chandrakar sun will appear in Australia, South Pacific, Antarctica and parts of New Zealand. Solar eclipse is an important astronomical event as well as religious and astrological importance in various cultures including India. Traditionally, solar eclipse is considered inauspicious and people are often recommended to follow special precautions and rituals during this period.
Fresh fruits like apples and bananas (fiber and vitamin C)
Coconut water (electrolytes like potassium, sodium and magnesium)
Dry fruits like almonds, raisins, walnuts (rich in healthy fat, fiber and vitamins)
Turmeric or curcumin
Basil
Avoid these foods during solar eclipse:
Ripened food
Stale food
Meat and eggs (high cholesterol or heart disease)
Oily food (unhealthy fat)
Caffeine -rich drinks (anxiety, insomnia, hypertension)
After the eclipse ends, the traditional domestic kitchen often comes alive with fresh foods such as chapati, vegetable curry and lentil rice. Spiritual individuals often fast and avoid certain foods during such rare astronomical events.
