Interest in BBL increased
Ravichandran Ashwin has confirmed playing in the ILT20, but his BBL participation in Australia continues. He has been interested in teams like Sydney Sixers, Sydney Thunder, Hobart Hurricanes and Adelaide Strikers. It is not yet decided for which team he will play, but the conversation has already started. The BBL will be from 14 December to 25 January, while the ILT20 will be played from 2 December to 4 January. So Ashwin will first play LT20 in UAE and then leave for Australia for BBL.
Dual challenge for Ashwin
Playing in both tournaments will be the plan of Ravichandran Ashwin’s plan and stamina. Playing the ILT20 in the UAE will give them a chance to get into competitive rhythm, but their availability in BBL is likely to be limited as both league matches are overlapping.
