AI more threatens to women’s job than men, claim in United Nations report

New Delhi . A report by the United Nations has recently made a surprise claims regarding Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI. Some major warnings are also given in the report. This report, named Gender Snapshot 2025, has been warned that AI can be more at risk than men in the coming times.

According to the report, about 28 percent of women’s jobs can be affected by AI globally. At the same time, about 21 percent of the jobs of men are threatened by AI. The report states that existing changes can have uneven effect on women due to differences between job trends and digital skills.

According to the United Nations, 27.6 percent of women’s jobs are potentially in touch with generative AI, while 21.1 percent of men’s jobs are struggling with this danger. In the report, about 65 million women jobs are at risk at risk.

Some suggestions have been made in the report to fight this danger. According to this, there is a need to take immediate measures to bridge the digital gender division. These measures include measures such as making women digital literate, improving the access of women to digital devices, training and increasing their participation in the stem field. The United Nations has warned that the world is facing a new threat and if we do not learn from previous mistakes, then this inequality can remain in future also.
