Following a delay in wiring the palace for electricity the palace was electrified in 1883. Today approximately eight hundred staffs are employed by Buckingham Palace. The palace contains a private chapel a post office a hospital and a cinema hall. Buckingham Palace has its own 40-acre park a helipad for helicopters and even a private lake. According to several media reports including Forbes Buckingham Palace is its most valuable asset worth $4.9 billion about Rs 40 lakh crore but it is not for sale or rent. It is valued at nearly twice the price of the world’s second-most expensive private residence Mukesh Ambani’s Antilia(approximately $2 billion).
