There was a commotion in the area after hearing the noise, but by then Deepak had escaped after getting the opportunity. This incident created an atmosphere of fear and anger in the entire village.

Police instead accused the victim

What happened after this horrific incident raised serious questions on the law and justice system. The victim approached Kushalpur outpost and Majhola police station to seek justice, but instead of listening to her, the police took the side of accused Deepak. The surprising thing is that on the basis of Deepak’s complaint, the police registered a case against the victim itself. Crying, the victim said, “Deepak misbehaved with me, insulted me, but the police did not listen to me. On the contrary, they filed a case against me.”

MLA raised voice, demanded investigation

The victim did not give up in the hope of justice. He met Kundarki MLA Ramveer Thakur and narrated his ordeal. The MLA took immediate action and wrote a letter to the SSP of Moradabad demanding a fair investigation and justice for the victim. The MLA’s letter has now reached the police captain, in which it has been clearly stated that the woman’s complaint should be thoroughly investigated. The victim also told that she met CO Civil Lines, but no concrete action has been taken yet.
