Now it has become mandatory for all the beneficiaries of this scheme to get e-KYC done. A time of two months has been fixed for everyone to complete this process. Under this scheme, a fixed amount is transferred every month to the needy women of the state. But now there has been an important change in this. Without which you will not get the benefit of this scheme.
What is the new rule?
To avail benefits under this scheme, the family income should not be more than Rs 2.5 lakh. If it is more than this then you will not get any benefit. Now under the new rule, the women beneficiaries of this scheme will have to get e-KYC done for their husband or father also. So that it can be decided whether the annual income of the beneficiary’s family is less than Rs 2.5 lakh or not. The government has mainly made this change to remove fake beneficiaries. So that weaker people can get benefits.
How will e-KYC be done?
- To get e-KYC done, go to the official website of the scheme.
- Click on e-KYC on the home page itself and get your Aadhaar OTP verified.
- After this it will be decided whether your KYC has been done or not, if it has been done then you can go to the next step.
- If it is not done then you will be checked in the scheme list.
