Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 is breaking new records every day and as much as we love reporting on the success of the film, the actor’s mansion has become the centre of attention. After all, the house is his vision and creation, and it ought to be fantastic.
We’re talking about his beautiful abode in Kundapura, Udupi, Karnataka. Apparently, it's his ancestral land that he spent crores on in order to build the house that he now lives in with his family. Let us take you inside the architectural marvel.

What sets Rishab Shetty’s home apart from any other large mansion is the remarkable blend of luxury and traditional elements throughout. Here are some of the standout features of the coastal home.

• The mansion’s grand entrance makes an unforgettable first impression with its brass-studded Burma teak doors — a nod to timeless craftsmanship.
• Instead of a typical buzzer, a chime of a hand-pulled temple bell that serves as the doorbell greets the guests.
• Inside, a 300-kg granite Tulsi katta anchors the airy atrium, surrounded by four thoughtfully designed alcoves.
• Each nook showcases personal artefacts that reflect the actor’s journey — from the rifle prop used in Kantara and a traditional Yakshagana headgear to a cricket bat signed by Yuvraj Singh.
• Reportedly, there’s also a rain room in the house that can stimulate the monsoon experience, since Rishab has a deep connection with nature.
• To stimulate creativity, there’s also a writer's pit with hammocks instead of chairs to exposed brick walls and terracotta jalis.

There are also reports that there’s a black stone somewhere in the northeast corner of the house and if one stands on it for seven seconds, the air fills with the Bhoota Kola chants from Kantara. Tucked away inside the mansion is Rishab’s personal mini-theatre for intimate yet immersive movie nights. Plush Italian leather recliners line up before a 150-inch retractable screen, while a chandelier crafted from reclaimed Mangalorean tiles lends character and warmth. The cinematic experience is powered by a projector he affectionately calls Seleyaraya — named after the guardian spirit from Kantara.
