Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been urged to not spend Christmas with the royals for the sixth year in a row. The couple last joined the royals at Sandringham in 2018, which was the year before their son was born.

The couple then spent Prince Archie's first Christmas in 2019 in Canada. Following their decision to step down as senior working royals in early 2020, the couple have since spent the festive period in America.

In a poll conducted by the Express, which ran between 4.58am on October 7 and 11.25am on October 8, royals fans were asked whether the couple should join the royals at Sandringham this year.

Of the 2,894 people who voted, a staggering 2,804 people [97 percent] shared that they should not travel to the UK and spend Christmas with Harry's family.

In contrast, 67 people [two percent] shared that they should join the royals for the first time since 2018, with an additional 23 people [one percent] sharing that they aren't sure what the couple should do for Christmas this year.

It has now been reported that the couple may face another Christmas away from Sandringham, amid reports that invitations to royal family members have already been sent.

The day is undoubtedly one that the royals look forward to each year, with the Christmas Day church service one of the main highlights.

Taking to the comment section, one fan commented: "No...they would only want to be there for the spotlight to be on them... It would spoil Christmas for the rest of the [Royal Family]."

Another wrote: "Not invited as they would only spoil it."

A third added: "Noooooo. They both are a disgrace and a disaster. They are negative energy. No one needs to be around them."
