Anant Goenka named FICCI President-elect

Anant Goenka, currently the senior vice president of Ficci, has been elected as the president-elect for the upcoming 2025-26 term. He takes the helm from Harsha Vardhan Agarwal during the annual general meeting. Goenka, who also serves as vice chairman of RPG Group—a major conglomerate with wide-ranging business ventures—previously drove CEAT to impressive heights in market capitalization.

Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (Ficci) Tuesday named RPG Group vice chairman Anant Goenka as its president-elect for 2025-26. Goenka is currently senior vice president of Ficci. He will take over from Harsha Vardhan Agarwal, who will be stepping down next month at Ficci's 98th annual general meeting.

RPG Group is a $5 billion conglomerate with its business spanning tyre (CEAT), infrastructure, pharma, IT and other sectors. Goenka has also been the chairman of Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA). He was the managing director and CEO of CEAT from 2012 to 2023. Under his leadership, CEAT witnessed a 25X increase in market capitalisation.
