Jaipur, October 15 (Read News). Due to the ongoing cleanliness in homes before Diwali, 1200 tonnes of waste is being disposed of at Heritage Corporation plants every day. This is 20 percent more than last month. Generally, only around one thousand tonnes of garbage was collected from Heritage Corporation door to door garbage collection and public places. There has been an increase in garbage collection after the monitoring of Corporation Commissioner Dr. Nidhi Patel in the first week of October. 455 hoppers of the corporation are collecting garbage by making about 1150 trips daily. This collection data is of door to door collection and road swapping. On the instructions of Commissioner Dr. Nidhi Patel, it is being continuously monitored from the Integrated Command and Control Center of Smart City. In the park alone, Hoppers are collecting garbage by making around 850 trips. There are about 60 wards of Heritage Corporation in Parkote. On Wednesday also, the Commissioner visited the Integrated Command and Control Center in the Smart City and inspected it and also gave instructions to make the garbage collection system 100 percent.

20 percent more garbage is being collected than last month

Corporation Commissioner Dr. Nidhi Patel said that currently door to door garbage collection is being done from 100 wards through 455 hoppers in the Heritage Corporation area. All the Hoppers have been instructed to collect garbage from all the houses and with the help of helpers, they should be advised to put the garbage in the Hopper only. This has had a direct impact on the waste management system of the corporation. Now on an average 1200 tonnes of garbage is reaching our plant every day. Which is 20 percent more than other days. Besides, open garbage depots are also being eliminated in road swapping. This arrangement will continue even after Diwali. Due to excess waste coming, it is also being disposed at the corporation’s plants. Garbage is being collected in 850 trips in Parkota. At the same time, around 800 tonnes of garbage is being disposed of daily by employing 850 trips of Hopper in the Parkota area of ​​Heritage Corporation. This garbage collection is being done in 60 wards in the heritage area. At the same time, on the instructions of the Corporation Commissioner, 23 open garbage depots have been closed in the last two days. In which beautification work is being done by removing open garbage depots from Gangauri market, Brahmapuri, Surajpol, Ramganj, Kishanpol market.

In the Waste to Energy Plant built at Langdiawas of Heritage Corporation, about 600 tonnes of garbage is being generated every day by the Heritage Corporation to generate electricity. From here electricity is being supplied to Jamvaramgarh area. Wet waste is being composted and disposed of in the Sevapura plant on Sikar Road. About 250 tonnes of garbage is being sent here. About 300 tonnes of garbage is being sent to Mathuradaspura dumping yard for disposal. Where the waste is being used in MRF plant and CND waste plant and for bioremediation.
