Model and authorDaisy Lowe is planning to build an eco-home in the country where she can live 'off-grid' with her family. The 35-year-old star recently moved to Somerset and is enjoying the slower pace of life with husband Jordan Saul and daughter Ivy, two. And now she is putting down roots by building her own self-sufficient home.
Speaking at the Renault 'Maison 4' Event at Future Stores, Oxford Street, she said: "I have always loved escaping to the West Country for fresh air, space, getting immersed in nature, and peace. That's what I've always wanted for my family, so it's been such a special experience moving our lives out to Somerset over the past six months.
Now, she said they are looking for a space to build an eco-home, where they can be off-grid and self-sufficient.
She said she wants to create "a unique and sumptuous living space that combines elements of industrial and more traditional interiors, fuelled by my love of making a home feel beautiful."
The event, hosted by Renault, brought together leading names in fashion and sustainability to celebrate the launch of the all-new Renault 4 and its modern electric design.
Daisy gave birth to baby Ivy in 2023, and has spent time in Los Angeles and lived in London before making the move to the countryside.
While the star continues to balance her work with motherhood, she said her priorities have evolved. "Becoming a mum has made self-care so much more important than it's ever been," she explained.

"If I don't take care of myself, then I'm no good to my little cherub, so I'm much better at setting clear boundaries, taking time for myself, and making the most nourishing or caring choice."
She described fame as a 'treacherous beast' but said it goes hand-in-hand with the profession.
"I have never courted it, and it by no means defines me - and through motherhood, I care so much less than I ever did."
Reflecting on her career in fashion at the Renault 'Maison 4' Event, Daisy said one moment still feels like a dream.
"When I had the honour of walking in the Chanel Métiers d'Art show in London," she said. "Having Karl Lagerfeld fit me was a once-in-a-lifetime, pinch-me moment."
