Giriraj Singh Statement on Muslims: Before the Bihar Assembly Election 2025, Union Minister and senior BJP leader Giriraj Singh has created a stir in the entire politics with his statement. While addressing an election meeting in Arwal district, he made objectionable statements on the Muslim community and also took a dig at the Grand Alliance Party and Tejashwi Yadav.
What did Giriraj Singh say?
Giriraj Singh said that Modi government works for every section of the society, but some Muslim voters do not support BJP. Giving the example of a conversation he had with a Maulvi, he said that despite getting the Ayushman card, he did not vote for BJP. He said that when I asked him if he got the card, he said yes, but did not vote. Such people are called ‘Namak Haram’. I said, Maulvi Saheb, we do not want the votes of these ‘Namak Harams’.

Giriraj Singh also targeted Grand Alliance leader Tejashwi Yadav. He said that Tejashwi Yadav is making a false promise of providing government job to every household, whereas the benefits of PM Awas and other schemes have also reached the people of Muslim community. He reiterated that he does not want the votes of ‘salt bastards’.
