WhatsApp is constantly introducing new features for its users, and now the company is testing an interesting update called "Reaction Stickers." This feature will allow users to instantly react to status updates with emojis, similar to Instagram Stories. Its goal is to make interactions more personal, fast, and fun.
Users Can Choose Their Favorite Emojis
The most important feature of this feature is that WhatsApp will give users complete freedom to choose emojis. Before posting a status, they can choose any emoji that best suits their emotions, whether it's happiness, love, anger, or surprise. This will make each status update feel more expressive and unique.
Viewers Will React
When a user views a status, they will see a reaction sticker attached to it. Simply tapping on the emoji will activate the reaction. It will remain completely private, and only the person who posted the status will be able to see who reacted. Furthermore, WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption will ensure data is completely secure.
Instant updates through notifications
As soon as a user reacts to your status, WhatsApp will send an instant notification. This will also show who used which emoji. There will also be an option to view all reactions in one place in the app's 'Activity Sheet', making it easier to track engagement.
Currently, WhatsApp only allows you to react to statuses with eight preset emojis, but the new Reaction Stickers feature goes beyond that. Interactive stickers displayed on the screen will prompt users to react immediately. This will not only increase engagement but also strengthen connectivity on the platform.
