Godrej Industries Group has once again announced its partnership with Literature Live the Mumbai Litefest. This is the 16th edition of this festival. The event will be held at NCPA, Nariman Point from 7th to 9th November. Godrej Industries Group has always supported this prestigious festival promoting literature and art. Organizers expressed the belief that this three-day program will be a feast of quality programs for literature lovers.
Held from 7th to 9th November, the festival will offer a wonderful feast of thoughts, stories and perspectives from around the world. More than 120 distinguished writers, speakers, intellectuals and artists from more than 10 countries will participate in this festival. The main objective of the festival is to inspire reflection, dialogue and innovative artistry. It will also host a special session by Godrej DEI Lab. Important topics like diversity, equality and inclusion will be discussed. The festival will have seminars, book in focus, indoor and outdoor art performances, a little festival for children, various workshops and daily events in keeping with the city’s festivities.
Great for kids
Several important steps have been taken to develop accessibility in this year’s Litfestival. Indian Sign Language, interpreters will be available in more than 15 sessions through Access for All. Additionally, a sensory friendly tent will be set up in the open air plaza. This tent will be created for neurodivergent children and a comfortable section for many. It will be provided with highly tactile materials, soft seating, low-noise instruments and necessary assistance from trained coordinators.

Poet and Novelist
LiteFest will award the prestigious Godrej Literature Live Award to the best writers in Novel, Non-Fiction, Business, Playwriting. Renowned Gujarati poet Sitanshu Yashchandra will be honored with the Kavi Award and well-known Hindi novelist and poet Vinod Kumar Shukla will be honored with the Lifetime Award.
