Enhance Your 12th Grade Marks with New Scheme
If you completed your 12th grade and often think, "If only I had studied a bit harder, my scores would have been better," now is your chance to make that aspiration a reality. You can apply through the Haryana Board's official website. Here's how to proceed...
For those who completed their 12th grade from 1990 to 2024 and are dissatisfied with their scores, this is a prime opportunity to enhance your marks. The Haryana Board of School Education has introduced a unique initiative for these students, allowing them to improve their 12th-grade results.
Details of the Special Scheme
This initiative by the Haryana Board is aimed at students who graduated between 1990 and 2024 and believe their scores could be improved. Eligible students can now participate in a "Special Improvement Exam" to potentially raise their marks.
Improve Marks in Two Subjects
Participants in this scheme can retake exams in up to two subjects. If they achieve better scores, these will replace their previous marks, and a revised marksheet will be issued.
Application Fee and Key Dates
The fee for this special examination is set at ₹10,000. Applications will only be processed upon payment of this fee. The deadline for submitting applications is November 15, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted, so interested candidates should apply promptly.
Rationale Behind the Decision
The Haryana Board has noted that many former students struggle with job placements, promotions, or further education due to their marks. The previous exam formats often resulted in lower scores compared to current standards. This initiative aims to provide these individuals with a chance to enhance their marks for career advancement or personal satisfaction.
Who Can Benefit?
This scheme is particularly advantageous for those who completed their 12th grade between 1990 and 2024, whether from government or private institutions, and are looking to improve their results.
Application Process
Students interested in this opportunity must apply online between October 31 and November 15, 2025. To apply, visit the Board's official website, www.bseh.org.in, and complete the application form.
When submitting the application online, students must upload a scanned copy of their previous 12th-grade certificate, which should be verified by a gazetted officer or an accredited institution.
