Zarine Khan, a respected socialite and the wife of veteran Bollywood actor Sanjay Khan, passed away peacefully at her home in Mumbai at the age of 81. She had been enduring age-related health problems for some time prior to her demise. Her passing has shocked and saddened the Khan family as well as the Bollywood community.

She is survived by her husband Sanjay Khan and their four children—daughters Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Ali Khan, and son Zayed Khan. Sussanne Khan, notable as an interior designer, was previously married to actor Hrithik Roshan, while Zayed Khan has built a successful career in acting.

Earlier in her life, Zarine dabbled in acting, starring in films such as "Tere Ghar Ke Samne" and "Ek Phool Do Mali," before choosing to dedicate herself to her family and interior design work. Her love story with Sanjay Khan began at a bus stop where they met and fell in love, leading to their marriage in 1966. Their relationship lasted over 59 years and is celebrated as one of Bollywood's most enduring marital partnerships, with Zarine remaining a steadfast support for her husband through every phase of life.

Sanjay Khan is 84 years old and last appeared in the film "Aakarshan" in 1988. He later turned to television, directing the acclaimed serial "1857 Kranti" in 2003, and also worked as a producer and scriptwriter.
