New Delhi . India is working day and night to make itself extremely powerful. After Operation Sindoor, India is busy upgrading and strengthening its defense system. All the countries of the world have now started developing such weapon systems, through which targets situated thousands of kilometers away can be destroyed sitting at home. Under this, long range missiles are being developed. It is generally called Intercontinental Ballistic Missile and India is also not behind in this. Many missiles have been developed under the Agni series, whose range ranges from 2000 km to 5500 km. Till now Agni-5 missiles have been made. Agni-5 has the status of ICBM. Now another Mahabali is being prepared in this series.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has decoded India’s future defense plan. He has talked about developing Agni-6. Along with China, Pakistan, countries like Türkiye will also be in the target of Agni-6. Experts also believe that America will also be in the range of Agni-6. In an interview, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has said a big thing about Agni-6 missile. He has said that work is going on for the development of Agni-6. Looking at the range of Agni-5, defense experts believe that the range of Agni-6 can be 10,000 to 12,000 kilometers. If this is so, then entire countries like China, Pakistan and Türkiye will come under the influence of Agni-6. Turkey directly supported Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. This is the same Türkiye, which India left no stone unturned to help. Let us tell you that a few years ago there was a devastating earthquake in Türkiye, which caused destruction on a large scale. After the development of Agni-6, both the close friends of Pakistan will come under its influence.

In fact, the Central Government has given many important indications regarding defense empowerment and indigenous production. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the need for the Russian S-400 air defense system remains. He said that if it is made available by Russia, India can buy more units in future. Meanwhile, talks are still ongoing on the production of Russian advanced fighter aircraft Sukhoi-57 in India. Let us tell you that Sukhoi-57 is a fifth generation fighter jet. On the other hand, DRDO is also busy developing advanced weapon systems rapidly. Along with Agni-6 ballistic missile, development of nuclear capable military submarine and work on theater level command structure of the armies is going on. According to defense experts, nuclear submarine will greatly strengthen the maritime security of the country.

India has seen huge investment and development over the last few years on drone technology. The Defense Minister says that rapid work is going on on indigenous drone platforms which will be able to perform both the roles (surveillance and strike). These modern UAVs will be helpful in ITC and immediate action to detect cross border threats. Experts also add that indigenous development will reduce dependency and increase control over supply chains. Rajnath Singh has also said a big thing about developing fighter jets in the country. He said that within the next one year, all the fighter jet engines used in the country will be produced in India only. For this, necessary technology transfer is being made a mandatory condition of the acquisition contract, so that expertise and manufacturing capabilities are strengthened in the domestic industry.
