Actor Dharmendra, renowned for his contributions to Bollywood, passed away on November 11 at the age of 89, as confirmed by his team. He had been in the ICU at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai for 11 days, struggling with respiratory issues. Known affectionately as Bollywood's He-Man, Dharmendra's career spanned over sixty years, leaving an indelible mark on the film industry. His health deteriorated last Monday, prompting an emergency admission to the hospital.
During his last moments, the entire Deol family was by his side. The news of his demise has deeply saddened both the film fraternity and his fans, who are taking to social media to express their sorrow and pay tribute. Despite being hospitalized for several days, his age-related health complications ultimately proved fatal.
In his final hours, several prominent figures from Bollywood visited him, including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan, Ameesha Patel, Genelia Deshmukh, and Riteish Deshmukh. Many of these stars were seen leaving the hospital visibly emotional.
Dharmendra's last appearance on screen will be in the film "21," where he plays a significant role alongside Agastya Nanda and Simar Bhatia. Although he may no longer be with us, his legacy in cinema will endure for generations to come.
