Patna . Bihar created history on Monday. Assembly elections 2025 are over, but the enthusiasm of the voters is still in the headlines. Completed in two phases. This is the most bumper voting in Bihar after independence. This time there was record voting in both the phases. From villages to cities, from farms to colleges, such enthusiasm of voters has never been seen before. This time Bihar not only voted, but also hoisted the flag of its awareness in democracy.

The public changed electoral history with 68.76 percent voting in the second phase of assembly elections. Whereas in the first phase, 65.08 percent voting took place. That means a jump of about three and a half percent in the second phase, which is a sign of a big change in the political atmosphere of Bihar. The highest voting took place in Kasba assembly constituency, where 80.89 percent voters came out of their homes. That means four out of every five people got their finger colored with ink in the counting of democracy. Whereas Nawada Assembly recorded the lowest voting percentage of 54.83 percent. There was a festive atmosphere across the state during voting. Women stood in queues holding voter slips in the hem of their sarees. When the youth raised the slogan of first vote-right thinking, the elders said that they had seen freedom, now they are understanding its real value.

According to the Election Commission, both the phases were completely peaceful. There was no major violent incident anywhere. Political analyst and senior journalist Luv Kumar Mishra believes that such bumper voting means that the people of Bihar have become active Bihar and not silent. He said that this is not just an election but a flame of public consciousness. Now before the results, the whole country is looking towards Bihar, where democracy has once again proved that the power of vote is bigger than every crown. This election has made Bihar the champion not only of voters but also of democratic confidence.
