Aadhaar Card Update News: In today’s modern times Aadhar Card A digital ID like this is considered very important for self-identification. All your facilities depend on Aadhaar card. However, this possibility of misuse cannot be ruled out. To prevent misuse of such an important document, the Central Government and the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) have decided to create a new Aadhaar card. The format of Aadhaar will be changed to make it more secure. UIDAI Now the Aadhaar card will not have your name or address, but the card will have a QR code with a photo. In which confidential information will be kept safe. The name, address and Aadhaar card number previously written on the Aadhaar card will be removed.
Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is planning to issue Aadhaar card with Aadhaar cardholder’s photo and QR code to prevent misuse of personal information and make offline verification straightforward. UIDAI Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bhuvnesh Kumar informed that it is planning to bring in a new rule in December to enhance the age verification process by organizations like hotels, airports, facilities and help offline verification, while maintaining personal privacy.

According to the UIDAI Act, an individual’s Aadhaar number or biometric information cannot be collected, used or stored for offline verification. However, many organizations collect and store photocopies of Aadhaar cards, which exposes their personal information to fraud or misuse. To prevent this, all Aadhaar information is now kept confidential, preventing offline verification and preventing misuse of personal information.
Rules for Aadhaar Card Verification
In India Aadhaar verification cannot be done without the holder’s consent and any organization doing so can be fined up to ₹1 crore. This consent has to be obtained in biometric or electronic form, which can be obtained from the holder through OTP, fingerprint, iris etc. Only organizations and banks authorized by UIDAI can do Aadhaar verification. Users can also lock their biometric data, allowing only OTP to be used. If someone misuses the Aadhaar number, he can also face heavy fines.
