It is a new AI model that dominates industry leaderboards in emotional intelligence and creative writing while slashing factual errors by nearly two-thirds. Grok 4.1: Global AI Benchmarks

Elon Musk’s xAI tested Grok 4.1 on LMArena, a well-known benchmark for large language models. In the Text Arena, Grok 4.1 in quasarflux mode achieved the top overall ranking with an Elo score of 1483, beating all non xAI models by 31 points.

Even in its faster non reasoning mode, known as tensor mode, it placed second and scored higher than other models running in full reasoning mode. Grok 4.1 was rolled out after a quiet two week release from November 1 to 14 2025, during which it was gradually introduced to more users across all platforms.
