Maruti Suzuki and Vitara

The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara isn’t just a new car, but a historic step in Maruti’s world. This is Suzuki’s first global electric SUV, built on an all-new, scalable platform, the e HEARTECT. Its biggest highlight is that production has already begun at its manufacturing plant in Gujarat, which means customers can expect timely deliveries. The e Vitara will come with two battery options – 48.9kWh and 61.1kWh. Both will be equipped with a front-axle mounted electric motor, providing a great driving experience.

Range and Features

If you enjoy long-distance travel, the e Vitara won’t disappoint. Its high-spec model offers a certified range of up to 500 kilometers on a single full charge. The SUV supports fast charging, and its large 61.1kWh battery can charge from 0 to 80% in just 50 minutes. In terms of features, it boasts luxury features like a 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument panel, a fixed glass roof, ventilated front seats, and a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.

Safety and Price

The e Vitara makes no compromises when it comes to safety. It boasts advanced features like seven airbags, a 360-degree surround-view camera, an electronic parking brake, a tire pressure monitoring system, blind spot monitoring, and Level 2 ADAS. Its estimated price is between ₹18 lakh and ₹25 lakh. It will compete directly with the Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, and the upcoming Tata Sierra EV.

New-Generation Kia Seltos

Now let’s talk about the second big hit, the new Kia Seltos. The new-generation Seltos has been spotted testing on Indian roads several times. Spy images clearly reveal significant design changes inspired by the new Kia Telluride. The SUV’s styling now appears more boxy and robust, making it appear larger and more substantial. It looks as if the Seltos has hit the gym to build its body.

Cabin and Features

The cabin of the new Seltos will be more premium and feature-loaded than before. Its design is inspired by Kia’s larger cars like the Carnival and EV9. You can expect a connected screen setup similar to the Syros, which will include a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 5-inch climate control display, and a 12.3-inch infotainment unit. This will make the cabin look even more futuristic and high-tech.
