Diljit Dosanjh Border 2 look: The anticipation around Border 2 has intensified with the release of Diljit Dosanjh’s powerful first-look poster, unveiling him as a formidable Wing Commander in the much-awaited war drama. The poster, shared two months before the film’s release, has already stirred excitement among fans who’ve been eager to see how the franchise evolves in its second chapter.

Diljit Dosanjh’s FIRST look from Border 2 OUT

The image, unveiled by T-Series and JP Films, shows Dosanjh seated inside a fighter jet cockpit, dressed in full Indian Air Force gear. His intense expression suggests that aerial combat will take centre stage in this instalment. This marks a significant shift from the original 1997 film, which focused almost entirely on the Battle of Longewala. With the Air Force now stepping into the storyline, the scale of the sequel has been significantly elevated.

The first Border, led by Sunny Deol, remains one of India’s most iconic war films. Set during the 1971 war, it depicted the heroic stand of a small Indian battalion against a massive Pakistani strike force. Its emotional depth, patriotic pulse and unforgettable performances turned it into a landmark in Indian cinema.

More about Border 2

Now, Border 2 aims to expand on that legacy. The sequel is being helmed by Anurag Singh, best known for directing Akshay Kumar’s Kesari (2019), which portrayed the legendary Battle of Saragarhi. His reunion with Diljit Dosanjh has added further buzz. The duo has delivered several Punjabi hits over the years, including Jatt & Juliet, Punjab 1984, and Super Singh. Their proven synergy has set high expectations for the upcoming war epic.

Alongside Dosanjh and Sunny Deol, the cast features Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa, bringing together a mix of seasoned performers and new-generation stars. Each actor’s look from the film has steadily been revealed, creating steady momentum as the release draws closer.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, the film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with J.P. Dutta’s banner. Border 2 has locked the release date for January 23, 2026, aligning it with India’s Republic Day weekend.
