Apple's budget phone iPhone 17e may arrive in February 2026. It is expected to have 18 MP selfie camera, A19 chip and dynamic island like iPhone 17. The phone may also have a 48 MP rear camera.
California: There is a good news for fans of Apple products. According to a report, Apple's budget-friendly smartphone, iPhone 17e, may be launched in February 2026. Despite the lower price, it is expected to have the same camera features as the flagship iPhone 17. Leaks claim that the iPhone 17e will get a new selfie sensor, which will further improve the quality of photos.
iPhone 17e camera upgrades
According to analyst Jeff, the iPhone 17e will have the same selfie camera as the iPhone 17 model. Instead of the earlier 12-megapixel front camera, Apple has given an 18 MP selfie sensor in the iPhone 17 standard model this year. Jeff says that the same 18-megapixel camera will be brought in Apple's affordable smartphone, i.e. iPhone e model. This 18 MP sensor of iPhone 17e will be able to take vertical and horizontal selfies without rotating the phone. Apart from this, new A19 chip, design and hardware upgrades like Dynamic Island can also be seen in iPhone 17e.
iPhone 17e: possible specifications
According to leaks, the iPhone 17e will have a 6.1-inch OLED display like its previous model, whose refresh rate will be 60Hz. There may also be no change in its single 48-megapixel rear camera. However, some improvement in camera performance is expected. It may have a 4,000 mAh battery and 20 Watt wired fast charging. But, as with all Apple products, the company will reveal all the features of the iPhone 17e at the time of launch itself.
