Gujarati movie Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate continues to wreak havoc at the box office despite two months of release in theatres.

The movie directed by Ankit Sakhiya opened to disastrous box office biz earning just Rs 5 lakh on day one when released in Gujarat on October 10, 2025.

Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate was made on just Rs 50 lakh and did just Rs 40 lakh in week one.

In week two, the movie made just Rs 30 lakh at the box office and in week three, it witnessed a marginal rise in collection earning Rs 80 lakh.

And then something unexpected happened. The movie saw a sudden spike in the biz from week four earning Rs 15.50 crore on.

In week five, it made Rs 32.50 crore. In week six, it collected Rs 28.25 crore and by week seven, it made Rs 17.75 crore.

And now post its weekend eight, the movie made Rs 6 crore taking its 52-day box office run to an unprecedented Rs 101.50 crore.

This makes Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate the first Gujarati movie to hit Rs 100 crore at the box office.

Out of its Rs 101.50 crore biz, the movie has made Rs 92 crore in Gujarat alone and Rs 9 crore in Maharashtra.

Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate is now the top grossing Gujarati movie of all time by a massive margin and is now the second biggest overall grosser in the state beating Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

It is now second only to Pushpa 2: The Rule which made Rs 100 crore in the state.

The movie is now heading for a release in Hindi and has the potential to become a breakout success which will further add to its box office business.

The movie is about a rickshaw driver who gets trapped in a farm house. While trying to figure out an escape route, he has visions of Lord Krishna who helps him in self-discovery.
