Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court has lifted the stay on the results of JSSC CGL exam, paving the way for the declaration of results. The court has ordered the SIT to continue the investigation. The High Court gave its verdict on the petition filed demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigation into the alleged paper leak case.

During the last hearing, after completion of the arguments on behalf of the state government, JSSC and the plaintiffs and successful candidates, the court had reserved its decision. On Thursday, Advocate General Rajiv Ranjan, Advocate Piyush Chitresh on behalf of the State Government and Advocate Sanjoy Piparwal on behalf of JSSC strongly presented the government’s side in this matter. While senior Supreme Court advocate Ajit Kumar Sinha and High Court senior advocate Ajit Kumar debated.

Instructions to start the appointment process after releasing the result

Rejecting the petition, the High Court has directed JSSC to release the results and start the appointment process. Along with this, the High Court has banned the publication of the results of ten candidates who had prepared for the exam while staying in Nepal. After the order of the High Court, now the way has been completely cleared for thousands of appointments to be made through JSSC CGL exam in the state.
