New Zealand vs West Indies, 1st Test: New Zealand’s fast bowler Matt Henry bowled brilliantly in the first two sessions of the second day of the first Test match being played at Hagley Oval, Christchurch and made Alec Athanase, captain Roston Chase and Justin Greaves his victims. With this he made a special record.

By dismissing Chase, Henry completed his 350 wickets for New Zealand in international cricket and has become the sixth player from his country to reach this figure.

Before Henry, only greats like Tim Southee, Daniel Vettori, Trent Boult, Richard Hadlee, Chris Cairns had achieved this position.

Henry showed Chase and Greaves the way to the pavilion in the same over.

Earlier, at the beginning of the second day, New Zealand’s first innings was reduced to 231 runs. In which top scorer Kane Williamson scored 52 runs and Michael Bracewell scored 47 runs in 73 balls.

For West Indies, Kemar Roach, Jaden Seals, OJ Shields, Justin Greaves took 2-2 wickets, Roston Chase and Johan Lane took 1-1 wicket.
