Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna has strongly condemned the creation and circulation of fake obscene images generated through artificial intelligence (AI), demanding strict legal action against those responsible. The 29-year-old actress spoke out after becoming the latest Bollywood celebrity targeted by manipulated visuals online.

Rashmika issued a powerful statement on social media, criticizing the alarming rise of AI-generated fake and explicit photos. She described the trend as a reflection of moral decay and urged authorities to enforce tough penalties on individuals exploiting technology for such malicious purposes.

Expressing concern over the growing misuse of the internet, Rashmika said the digital world has increasingly become a platform where fabricated images can be easily passed off as real. “The internet is no longer a mirror of truth,” she said, adding that fake images are effortlessly made to look authentic, making the environment unsafe for women and public figures.

Rashmika further stated that while AI is meant to serve as a tool for development and innovation, its misuse reveals alarming levels of societal deterioration. She emphasized that women being targeted through obscene AI-generated visuals should be protected with severe and ruthless punishment for offenders, as such acts cause deep psychological harm and invade personal dignity.

Her remarks come at a time when several Indian actresses have raised their voices against the disturbing rise of AI-created fake content. Recently, actress Shriya Saran also expressed grave concern over the circulation of manipulated photographs, highlighting the urgent need for stronger regulatory measures.

Rashmika’s firm stance adds momentum to the growing industry-wide demand for stricter cyber laws and robust digital safety policies. Many celebrities have called on the government and tech platforms to take decisive action to curb the misuse of AI tools that enable the creation of deepfakes and explicit doctored visuals.

Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna is currently preparing for the release of her upcoming film Cocktail 2, the sequel to the popular 2012 hit Cocktail. Her outspoken views on AI misuse have sparked widespread discussion, prompting further calls for accountability and responsible technology use in the entertainment industry and beyond.
