Angry Ginge's mum has broken her silence on the I'm A Celebrity sweets scandal.
The content creator is currently facing his fears in the Australian jungle, and has quickly become a fan favourite to win the ITV series.
Ginge's mum, Michelle, appeared on ITV's Good Morning Britain on Thursday (December 4), alongside Tom Read Wilson's mum, Juliette. The pair spoke to hosts Charlotte Hawkins and Ed Balls about their sons' respective journeys in the jungle.
During the interview, Michelle revealed what she thought of the show's recent sweets scandal, which saw Ginge, Kelly Brook and Aitch sneak extra milk bottles after winning a challenge.
After becoming the fourth celebrity to leave the camp on Tuesday (November 2), Kelly revealed that there were "more than ten milk bottles", before hastily making her exit.
Ginge and Aitch went on to fabricate the truth, saying they each had one extra sweet, when, in fact, they'd each eaten three.
Sharing her thoughts on the incident, Michelle said: "It could have been worse, they could have eaten them all and just brought the letter back!
"That's just Morgan, I think all three of them together were egging each other on to do it, as well, so you can't just blame him. But it was funny."
In recent episodes, Ginge has shared his frustration with his fellow campmates over the amount of washing up he's had to do. He was therefore delighted to swap jobs on Wednesday (December 3) night.
"Washing up gate. He doesn't like washing up, but he'll just do it. I think he was just a little bit annoyed with how many [utensils] they were actually using when it was unnecessary. And when they started to use the cups on purpose to put the rice in, that really wound him up," Michelle explained.
She concluded: "He's doing really good. He's doing amazing, I'm really proud of him. The challenges he's done, he's done well in all of them. He's really tried and put his heart into it, so I'm really pleased.
"He's always been competitive and emotional, it's just a different side to when he's streaming. Him being who he is in the jungle is actually showing himself, rather than who he is on the camera."
Comedian Ruby Wax became the latest star to leave the jungle last night after receiving the least amount of votes from fans.
Ruby's time on the show came to an end after landing in the bottom two alongside Emmerdale star Lisa Riley. Just before heading off, the star was flooded with support from her fellow campmates, who were shocked and upset that she got the boot.
During her exit interview, Ruby said she managed to "totally forget" the outside world, calling her campmates her "family".
