Robbie Williams channelled Cole Palmer's iconic 'Cold' celebration during his performance at the 2026 World Cup draw.
The pop sensation took to the stage at the draw ceremony in Washington D. C., with the tournament set to be hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Stoke-on-Trent-born star appeared alongside Nicole Scherzinger in a glittering event compered by supermodel Heidi Klum and comedian Kevin Hart.
Williams performed FIFA's official anthem, Desire, with Scherzinger, while The Village People were scheduled to deliver their classic YMCA hit following the conclusion of the draw. Held at the prestigious John F.Kennedy Center, the ceremony also witnessed the inaugural presentation of FIFA's 'Peace Prize', an accolade designed to honour 'exceptional contributions to peace and unity', reports the Mirror.

US President Donald Trump received the award. "This is truly one of the great honours of my life," Trump remarked.
"We have saved millions of live, the Congo is an example. We have been able to end so many wars, some even before they started. It is such an honour to be with Gianni, who I have known for so long."
Both England and Scotland featured in the draw having secured their World Cup qualification, while Wales face a play-off fixture in March. Prior to the draw taking place, former England manager Sir Gareth Southgate shared his thoughts on what would constitute a challenging group for his former charges.
Mills recommended that England would be wise to steer clear of fixtures against Colombia, Japan or Scotland. "If you're thinking about the amount of Colombians that will go to those games in the States or Mexico, what an atmosphere that will be," he remarked.
He also outlined his intentions for the World Cup and any potential media commitments. "I'm not going to do any media during the tournament," he stated.
"I think I've got to give them space. "My role now is to keep out of the way!"
