UK’s action: The UK government’s actions to punish anti-India extremist organizations were applauded by India on Monday. These actions assist stop illicit money flows and transnational criminal networks while also bolstering the worldwide battle against terrorism and extremism.

The government was reacting to the UK’s statement that a person suspected of belonging to the Babbar Khalsa terror group and an organization that supports and promotes the same outfit will have their assets frozen.
The Domestic Counter-Terrorism Regime was used for the first time, according to UK officials, to stop financing for the terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa, which supports Khalistan.
“We look forward to continuing to work closely with the UK side in further strengthening counterterrorism and security cooperation,” Randhir Jaiswal, a spokeswoman for the MEA, said.
Gurpreet Singh Rehal is a participant in the terrorist actions of Babbar Khalsa, supporting and aiding such groups by buying firearms and other military supplies, among other things.
