OpenAI’s new tool: ChatGPT Translate
OpenAI has recently launched a unique translation tool “ChatGPT Translate”. This tool is introduced without any fuss and its feature is that it is not available in the normal interface of ChatGPT, but functions on its own webpage. The special thing is that many users were already translating with the help of ChatGPT, but now OpenAI has decided to take this process even more seriously.
What is ChatGPT Translate?
ChatGPT Translate is an automatic language recognition service with the ability to translate into over 50 languages. Its design is similar to Google Translate, where the text given by the user is displayed in one box and its translation in the other.
However, this tool does not just translate but also gives users various options to improve the text. As soon as the user clicks on an option, he or she is taken straight to ChatGPT’s main interface, where the text can be further tailored to suit the tone, circumstances or audience. This translation not only translates the words, but also helps in presenting the meaning correctly.
How to use ChatGPT Translate?
Using this tool is very simple. Follow the following steps:
- First of all go to the official website of ChatGPT Translate.
- Now type or copy-paste the text to be translated in the box on the left.
- Next, select your preferred language from the options on the right.
- As you complete these steps, the text will automatically be translated into the selected language.
However, this tool currently has some limitations. Features of document uploading, website translation, handwriting recognition and real-time communication are not available in it. There is mention of image translation, but currently there is no option to upload images.
