Shahrukh Khan and director Siddharth Anand officially announced that King will release in theaters on December 24, 2026. Along with the date, the team also shared new visuals of the film. Shahrukh Khan is seen in a bold and intense avatar in the new clip, which hints towards a high-action story. The title of the film was revealed on November 2 on the occasion of Shahrukh Khan’s birthday. Last year, on his 60th birthday, the makers released a teaser of the film. Which featured stunning visuals, fast action and a more intense version than audiences had ever seen before. With silver hair, sharp expressions and a serious demeanor, the actor played a ruthless and mysterious character. In a particular moment, Shahrukh Khan speaks a dialogue which immediately caught the attention of the audience. The dialogue was that I don’t remember how many deaths I committed. Never asked whether people were good or bad. I just saw the realization in his eyes that this was his last breath and I was the reason for it. The film King is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.
